Not one of your students, unfortunately- was too young to have been one by the time you left the country.Besides, I'm from the Bo District.<BR/><BR/>You invited corrections and such like,so I thought I should point out that one of the 'devils' you captioned as "Goboi at Kenema" isn't a Goboi (image # 120). It's a Yavi, with the short, cropped raffia covering. The Goboi, as you show in the other photos, has a circular 'head' with flaps and wooden slats on its back. And one thing: I'm sure your pupils were actually saying (or trying to say)"We win them for nothing." We like telling the competition beating them was no chore.<BR/><BR/>Thanks for you and your wife's contribution, all those years ago, to my country.
